The Gage Players

Walton-On-The-Hill - Tadworth, Surrey, UK.

The Gage are always looking for volunteers in all aspects of theatre,  be it acting, directing, backstage front of house or anything else.

If you would like to join (£10.00 a year, Students £5.00) please e-mail us with your details or turn up at the Riddell Hall on the Sunday preceding the 1st night between 10AM and 3PM when the stage is being prepared and meet the team.

The Gage Players were formed in 1950 by accepting a challenge (laying down the gauntlet or GAGE) by Walton Village to form a Dramatic Society.

Since then they have regularly performed two or three plays a year and also competed in the All England Theatre Festival where they have won several awards.

There has always been a good variety of plays, including a number of musicals. Age groups have ranged from 8 to 80. There is a good technical crew but as with every society nowadays new members are urgently needed with or without experience.

There are various social events each year making this a very friendly group to join.
